1. What LFGxp Is
LFGxp is a peer support platform operated by LEP Foundation (Lived Experience People Foundation) — lep.ae — operating under its registered legal entity, ASHAB ALTAJURBA AL HEIA CONSULTANTS, Dubai DET License 1519775, founded 20 October 2023. LFGxp connects people with lived experience of recovery (“Experts”) with people seeking peer support (“Seekers”) for mutual, non-clinical support.
LFGxp is not a substitute for professional medical, psychiatric, or emergency care, and is not an emergency service. If you are in immediate danger or crisis, call 999 or the UAE mental health support line 800-4673 (SAKINA) immediately.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use LFGxp. By registering, you confirm you meet this requirement. LFGxp is not directed at, and does not knowingly collect information from, anyone under 18.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm another user
- Share another person's private information without consent
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity or credentials
- Use the platform to solicit, advertise, or conduct commercial activity outside its intended purpose
- Attempt to bypass security features, scrape data, or interfere with the platform's operation
- Upload unlawful content or content that violates others' rights
5. Peer Support, Not Clinical Care
Experts on LFGxp are peers with lived experience — not licensed medical or mental health professionals, unless explicitly stated on their profile. Nothing shared through LFGxp constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Outcomes of peer connections are not guaranteed.
6. Content and Conduct Between Users
LFGxp provides a platform for people to connect; we do not control, and are not a party to, the interactions that occur between users once connected. We are not liable for the conduct, statements, or actions of any user toward another user, except to the extent such liability arises from our own gross negligence or willful misconduct, or as required by applicable law.
7. Reporting and Safety
If you experience or witness abuse, harassment, or unsafe conduct on the platform, report it via the in-app reporting feature or by emailing support@lfgxp.com. We investigate reports and may remove users found to have violated these Terms.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LFGxp and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under UAE law, including liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of LFGxp after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be notified via the app or your registered email.
10. Termination
You may stop using LFGxp and request account closure at any time by contacting support@lfgxp.com. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Dubai.
